Columbia St. Mary’s exterior features an aluminum rainscreen system painted by Linetec. The finished system protects against the harsh, winter climate and high winds of Lake Michigan. Along with providing a superior water barrier, the system’s thermal performance assists in reducing the hospital’s energy costs. The new hospital is expected to save approximately $19 million on annual operational costs.
