From Sept. 1 to 30, the Ink Spot’s gallery will welcome personal “Woodcuts” printed by Jim Sherraden, who also curates Nashville’s Hatch Show Print. A closing reception and artist talk with Sherraden will be held Sept. 29, 6-10 p.m., at Amsterdam Bar & Hall, a few doors down from Ink Spot.

The unique mark prominently features an “A” — an homage to the company name, along with a roll of paper ready for printing. Housed within the mark is a scaled-down “C” nodding to the mill’s heritage of coated solutions.

The first coated mill to be Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified in North America, the company’s sustainability efforts also have been recognized for lowering overall energy usage by substituting biomass for 42 percent of its coal usage during the last three years as it seeks alternatives for fossil fuels.
